ĀTMAN and its mascot companion (Ākṛiti) do not dispense clinical mental healthcare, formal psychotherapeutic diagnosis, crisis intervention, psychiatric prescribing, or certified academic instruction. If you are experiencing psychological distress or a crisis situation, you must contact emergency medical services or a licensed healthcare professional immediately.
ARTICLE II // ELIGIBILITY & ADOLESCENT SAFEKEEPING
Developing Minds & Adolescent Safekeeping
We respect the intellectual autonomy of young thinkers while maintaining strict protective standards:
- Minimum Eligibility: Users must be at least 14 years old to initialize an ĀTMAN account or interact with the platform.
- Zero Commercial Profiling: We never build advertising profiles or monetize the reflections of minors or adults.
- Future Guardian Oversight: Structured parent/guardian linking is currently under architectural review and scheduled for future release. Until formally deployed, all user accounts remain direct individual accounts under user device custody.
ARTICLE III // INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & SOVEREIGNTY
Data Sovereignty & The Non-Commodity Principle
We hold an uncompromising belief: human thought is not a raw material to be harvested, mined, or sold. Your cognitive topography belongs exclusively to you.
- Full IP Retention: All prompts, notes, journals, uploaded materials, and synthesized conceptual structures remain your exclusive property.
- No Public Foundation Model Training: We do not sell your personal data to data brokers, nor do we utilize your private reflections to train public foundational AI models.
- Right to Extraction & Eradication: At any time, navigating to your profile and selecting "DELETE" executes an irreversible, immediate erasure of your local database records, session keys, and cognitive profile.
ARTICLE IV // SANCTUARY INTEGRITY & CONDUCT
Acceptable Conduct & Community Guardrails
ĀTMAN is designed as a peaceful, focused sanctuary for the intellect. By engaging with the platform, you agree to respect the following boundaries:
- You will not generate, propagate, or solicit illegal content, violent extremism, child sexual exploitation material, or material encouraging self-harm.
- You will not attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass the platform's API proxies, client-side sandboxes, or mascot kinematic engines.
- You will not deploy unauthorized high-frequency automated scraping bots or denial-of-service vectors against ĀTMAN servers.
- You will not impersonate other entities or misrepresent credentials within the sanctuary gateway.
Accounts found engaging in willful harm, malicious exploitation, or abuse will face immediate revocation of access.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. AS ĀTMAN REPRESENTS AN ACTIVE COGNITIVE RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT, INTERFACES, MODELS, AND KINEMATICS MAY UNDERGO REFINEMENT OR TEMPORARY DOWNTIME WITHOUT ADVANCE WARNING.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ĀTMAN, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
